The first Black woman-owned print fashion publication to hit US markets in years.
It's also Birmingham, Alabama's first fashion magazine.

In her TEDxBirmingham talk, fashion publisher Maacah Davis challenges us as customers to consider the media we consume and to demand diversity from our favorite brands.

Independently published by Maacah Davis, the summer she turned 20, belladonna is printed quarterly. We aim to: diversify fashion photography and fashion publishing by casting models who are both culturally and physically diverse; be a creative playground for independent artists; and, develop the South's fashion identity.

You can purchase printed and digital copies of belladonna directly from our online shop--and, if you're in Birmingham, find us at: The Birmingham Museum of Art, Ambiance in Homewood, Revelator Coffee Downtown, The Moody Rabbit Homewood, and Church Street Coffee and Books in Mountain Brook.
